A pen name, and a patient one. Beachcombing writes Beachcombing's Bizarre History Blog at strangehistory.net, digging old ghost scares out of the papers. In January 2015 the blog retold the Golden Lane Ghost Riot of 1880, setting it among British ghost riots from 1867 to 1921. A 2015 series on the Jewel House apparition questioned its dating and traced later embellishments as unsourced. In 2016 a seven-part series on the Souther Fell spectral army weighed Fata Morgana as perhaps the only credible theory. In 2017 came the Dundee Ghost Scare, its 1883 reports transcribed.
