Three different men named Anderson turn up in the archive. In Dundee, early on 17 February 1883, a clerk called William Anderson was arrested in the Nethergate during a months-long ghost scare, then warned and released after telling the Police Court he had been drinking. June 1961. At Millaa Millaa, Senior Constable W. Anderson took the Beechino brothers' report of an object over the town and set an RAAF search in motion. In 2001, investigator Dennis Anderson, later astronomical advisor to NY-SPI, argued that the New Jersey Turnpike lights at Carteret were probably more than one object.
