Frank Edwards was a broadcaster and author who carried older sighting stories to a wider audience. In the 1960s he retold The Little Green Men of Steep Rock Lake on radio and in print. He was no relation to the author of that story. His books also repeated the Spitsbergen flying saucer crash, alongside Donald Keyhoe and NICAP. In 1966 he said a member of the Norwegian board of inquiry had written back to him. He helped popularise the Petare hairy dwarf encounter of 1954 too. By his account, a well-known Caracas physician on a night call had witnessed the whole incident. That doctor was never named.
