Every story, the search, the timeline and the globe stay free for everyone. Pro hears every story to the end, in your podcast app, gets new stories 7 days before everyone else, and is told when a case you follow gets a new story. The yearly plan starts with 7 days free.

The first minute of every narration, on the site and in the preview podcast
Pick the yearly plan and enter a card. Pro starts at once and nothing is charged for 7 days. Cancel from your account before then and you pay nothing; otherwise the year begins.
Why does the narration stop after a minute?
Every visitor hears the first 60 seconds of a story's narration, enough to know whether it is for you. Pro plays the rest, on the story page, in the slideshow and in the playlist.
How does the podcast feed work?
Your account page has a private feed address. Paste it into Apple Podcasts, Overcast, Pocket Casts or any app that takes a feed, and every narrated story appears as an episode, newest first, with new ones the day they are published. Spotify does not take private feeds. Anyone can add the preview feed, which carries the first minute of each story.
What is early access?
A new story is Pro's for its first 7 days. Everyone else sees its title, picture and opening, and the day it opens. After that it is public like every other story.
Is search really free?
Yes. Anyone can search; a free account removes the short wait between searches and keeps your saved searches. Pro adds nothing to search itself.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from the account page. You keep Pro until the end of the month or year you paid for, then drop back to Free. Nothing you saved is deleted.
Refunds?
If something went wrong with a charge, write to us through the contact page within 14 days and we will sort it out.
Is the payment secure?
Payments go through Stripe. We never see your card number; we store only your subscription status.
Do I need an account to read stories?
No. Stories, the timeline and the globe are public and always will be.
