In 2025 it returned to Millvale, to the scaffold, the shielded flame and the robed figure at the altar of St. Nicholas Croatian Church, where it says Zagar reportedly witnessed the same phenomenon as Vanka. It also keeps the Mince Pie Martians of Rowley Regis alive. Retellings drift, though. Its account of the Midgeon Lagoon bunyip turned "half as long again" into "half as long as" and named the paper the "Wagga Advocate".
