An author who kept strange stories alive by retelling them. In 1966 Brad Steiger took the Swedish Domsten encounter of 1958 into Strangers from the Skies. There he gave its creatures a name. The "Terrible Flying Jelly Bags." He was involved again on June 8, 1968, when Warren Smith arranged a second hypnosis session for Herbert Schirmer in the Ashland, Nebraska case. In 1982 Steiger retold the Lawton Wolfman in Monsters Among Us. His version set it in "Lawton, Texas" and added a witness named "Bobby Ford."
