A British group that goes looking for the creatures others only glimpse. Jon Downes served as its director, with zoologist Richard Freeman often in the field. In the 1990s Downes reopened the Owlman of Mawnan case and found a man who said he had seen it in 1989. January 2003. A team arrived at Bolam Lake in Northumberland during a winter wave of man-beast reports. In 2006 the group travelled to The Gambia with a hand-drawn map of Gambo's burial site. A nightclub stood on the spot. Expeditions followed on Windermere in 2006 and 2007.
