Parapsychologist William G. Roll of the Psychical Research Foundation went where the objects flew. Indianapolis, 1962. He stayed in the Beck and Gemmecke house and chronicled 110 movements and incidents. In Miami in 1966, at Tropication Arts, he and J. Gaither Pratt found no threads or rigging, and Roll personally witnessed 13 incidents around a young worker named Julio. Columbus, 1984. He logged fifteen movements in 52 minutes around Tina Resch, while James Randi argued she threw the phone. Roll coined the term recurrent spontaneous psychokinesis and defended the case for the rest of his life.
