A parapsychologist of the Duke Parapsychology Laboratory, J. Gaither Pratt worked alongside William G. Roll on three poltergeist cases. Seaford, Long Island, 1958. The pair catalogued 67 disturbances at the Herrmann house, found no evidence of fraud, and proposed a new name: recurrent spontaneous psychokinesis, or RSPK. In September 1961 Pratt joined Roll again at the Felix Fuld housing project. Then came Miami, 1966. At Tropication Arts they searched for threads and rigging and found none. They logged 224 incidents, all tied to the presence of a young man named Julio.
