A newspaper name that turns up twice in the archive. In Melbourne, The Argus carried the Euroa bunyip story in 1890. In 1909 a witness named Cozens walked into its office to report the Kangaroo Ground lights, and readers from North Malvern wrote in with their own sighting. It sent a reporter, a photographer and a hunting dog after the Wonthaggi Monster in 1955. June 1936. It declared the Gippsland tiger a dingo. A separate paper, The Argus in Brighton, broke the Sussex police helicopter footage on 3 September 2002. Its headline read "Police helicopter chases UFO".
