A writer whose retellings turn up across the archive, sometimes with details the older sources never gave. In 2021 he wrote about the Brungle Creek Bunyip Carcass of 1883. He called it probably sensationalized journalism, yet his version added a length of around 30 feet and an elephant's trunk for a head. That same year he covered the Maslin Beach Photographs of 1993, reporting a consensus that the pictures were staged with models. His 2022 retelling of the Beast of Veyreau gave the creature a dark coat, glowing eyes and the size of a horse. None of it appears in Fages's text.
