Bender

Person 5 stories, 1935 to 1981

In this archive the name belongs mostly to Hans Bender, a parapsychologist working from the IGPP, his institute in Freiburg. In 1965 he judged the Bremen porcelain-shop events genuine recurrent spontaneous psychokinesis and took the boy Heiner Scholz to Freiburg for experiments. December 1967. His institute took over the Rosenheim Poltergeist, centring it on Annemarie Schaberl. In February 1982 he arrived at the Chopper ghost voice case in Neutraubling. Joe Nickell and James Randi criticised him for calling cases genuine after deception was found. A different Bender, Albert K. Bender of Bridgeport, Connecticut, told of three men in dark clothes in 1953.
