The surname Turner belongs to two different men in this archive. O. H. "Harry" Turner received the classified Woomera file in 1954. He summarised it as a misty grey disc, about 10 feet across, with a speed of 3600 mph measured on the trace. After reviewing DAFI's cases from 1950 to 1953, he concluded that some strange aircraft behaved in a manner suggestive of extraterrestrial origin. The other is Harry Joe Turner, a 28-year-old trucker from Winchester, Virginia. August 28, 1979. On U.S. Route 17 a beam of thick white light settled over his Kenworth, and he fired eight rounds at a being that grabbed him.
