Organisation 14 stories, 1930 to 2015

A wire service, and a quiet amplifier. In the archive's stories, the Associated Press is how a local strangeness reached the wider world. 1947. The master of the Santa Clara, J. Fordan, published a fuller account of his ship striking a sea serpent off North Carolina, and the AP carried it. In Grangeville, Idaho, in 1964, it reported plainly on residents who watched a bright object to the north for two nights. Then 2006. After the Sun Journal ran Mark LaFlamme's story on the Turner Mystery Beast in Maine, the AP took it national, then international.
