Organisation 5 stories, 1833 to 1902

A British journal. Its pages became a home for strange reports from sea and sky. May 1847. It printed the signed account of five officers who saw a sea serpent at St. Margaret's Bay in 1833, a report later quoted again and again. In July 1868 it ran the Copiapó flying creature as "A Strange Bird." In 1873 the Reverends Macrae and Twopeny described their Leda sea serpent there, with diagrams. And in January 1903 it reprinted the SS Fort Salisbury statements without comment, for future comparison.
