A researcher of old sky wonders, Chris Aubeck co-wrote Wonders in the Sky with Jacques Vallée in 2010. The book took in the Basel broadsheet of 1566 and published an English translation of the 1663 letter describing the Robozero Wonder. With Vallée, Aubeck reads the Nuremberg sky battle of 1561 as part of a stock myth repeated across the centuries. In 2024 Aubeck turned to Australia. Together with Bill Chalker, Aubeck examined the Rumsey papers at the University of Sydney's Fisher Library, a step in the study of Birmingham's Parramatta Park Ark. Among them were six pages in Birmingham's own hand.
