George Adamski ran the Palomar Gardens café below Palomar Mountain in California. He was an amateur astronomer, and in the 1930s founded an occult group, the Royal Order of Tibet. November 20, 1952. In the Colorado Desert, he walked on alone and said he met a long-haired visitor beside a landed saucer. That Desert Center contact made him the most famous contactee of all. His shadow fell on later cases, from Salvador Villanueva Medina, called the Mexican Adamski, to the Scoriton contact of 1965. Adamski died on 23 April 1965.
