A blog. Strange History keeps old Victorian ghost scares alive, and it turns up in several of the archive's crowd cases. In 2015 it gathered the Edith Villas affair of 1900 among London's ghost riots. Fifteen hundred people on a summer evening, all watching one window. In 2018 a reader posted the Woolwich Gazette clipping of 29 October 1897 there, offering a name for the Plumstead culprit that has never been confirmed. The blog also preserves the Garstang Ghost of 1881, alongside Findmypast and the Paranormal Database.
