Harry Price ran the National Laboratory of Psychical Research, at 16 Queensberry Place, South Kensington. He went where the strange things were. In April 1926 he watched Eleonore Zugun in Vienna and saw a steel stiletto fly across the room. Later he brought her to his laboratory. In 1935 he visited Cashen's Gap with R. S. Lambert, hunting Gef the talking mongoose, and came away sceptical. Borley Rectory drew him longest. He arrived on 12 June 1929, then rented the house for one year from May 1937, with 48 Official Observers on a rota.
