An Air Force base where the uncensored Project Blue Book files could still be read. January 1974. Don Berliner sat with those files at Maxwell AFB and copied witness names before they were blacked out for microfilm. His list of Blue Book unknowns, made for the Fund for UFO Research, preserved the name of M/Sgt. Troy Putnam in the Tucson discs case of 1949. The same notes carried the Cortez Road object reported near Eglin AFB, the Capital Airlines Flight 610 sighting near Andrews AFB, and the Yaak Air Force Station radar-visual reports of 1952.
