The Spooner Domed Discs Over a Lake

June 6, 1966 · Spooner, Washburn County, Wisconsin, United States
28Thinly documented UAP Disc / saucer 21 sources

June 6, 1966. A summer evening in Spooner, Wisconsin. At 9:30 p.m., Dorothy Gray saw two domed discs above a lake. Their upper surfaces sparkled. Square windows were set into their tops. The discs revolved above the water. Below them, the lake began to behave strangely, stirred by what one chronology calls a strange turbulence on the surface. Twenty-five seconds later, it was over. The US Air Force's Project Blue Book logged the report as case #10626. The verdict was Unknown. No photograph exists. No newspaper report from the time has been found. What remains is a single witness account, preserved in one summary line, and a lake that nobody ever named.
