Donald A. Johnson

Person 13 stories, 1954 to 1978

A compiler of day-by-day UFO chronologies, built on the UFOCAT database. Donald A. Johnson's work turns up again and again as the place where a case was kept. For NICAP, his UFOCAT analysis of the French wave of 1954 counted 750 French reports in October alone. His daily files preserve a third version of the Mount Gambier car encounter of 1963, with the object rising and roaring over the car. His chronology gives the fullest account of the Lake Sorell sighting in Tasmania, 1975. On the Homestead F-106 scramble of 1972, his record disagrees with others, placing the jets at West Palm Beach Airport.
