A research fund that kept the Air Force's unsolved cases in view. January 1974. Don Berliner sat with the uncensored Project Blue Book files at Maxwell AFB and copied down the names the public microfilm had blacked out. His list of Blue Book unknowns, compiled for the Fund for UFO Research, restored M/Sgt. Troy Putnam to the 1949 Tucson discs and numbered the 1956 Guam intercept as case 4577. NICAP drew its Keflavík entry from the same index. Decades later, in July 1996, the Fund published Walter N. Webb's final report on America West Flight 564, sketches included.
