A German group with a sceptical eye. CENAP turns up in the archive when old sightings get a second look. For Capital Airlines Flight 610 near Andrews AFB in 1951, its blog reproduced an analysis from Tim Printy's SUNlite pointing to Venus, Saturn and a Leonid meteor. In 2023 it proposed a high-altitude research balloon, possibly from Project Gopher, for the BEA crew's two saucers over the English Channel in 1953, while conceding the records ruled out a definite match. And in the Greifswald Lights case, Werner Walter of CENAP saw military targets, not visitors.
