International Society of Cryptozoology

Organisation 5 stories, 1983 to 1989

A society devoted to cryptozoology, it reported, investigated and published. Its co-founder and Secretary was J. Richard Greenwell. Mid-June 1983. A small team took to the field for the society in New Ireland, chasing the ri of Elizabeth Bay with Roy Wagner. That same year its newsletter wrote up the Caltrans crew's sea serpent off Stinson Beach. In 1986 it carried the news of Anthony Wooldridge's yeti photographs near Hemkund under the headline "First Yeti Photos Spark Renewed Interest," and Wooldridge's own field report appeared in the journal Cryptozoology.
