The Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization, the BFRO, was headed by Matt Moneymaker. It files and rates reports. In 2006 it logged the 1870 Crow Canyon case as Report #14338 and rated it Class A. September 2000. Moneymaker led a BFRO expedition into the Skookum Meadow area of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, where the Skookum Cast was made. Critics later argued the impression came from an elk. In 2007 the group examined the Jacobs trail-camera photos and labelled the animal an "unclassified primate?"
