An Oklahoma City investigator who chased both lights in the sky and things in the woods. Hayden C. Hewes directed the International UFO Bureau. In September 1973 he asked Georgia Governor Jimmy Carter for an account of his Leary sighting, and Carter filled in the form. A year earlier, Hewes camped out on July 22 in the Momo case and heard nothing. On August 1, 1972, he still called Momo likely an unknown hominid that must be taken alive. In 1975, as director of Sasquatch Investigations of Mid-America, he helped log at least 24 witnesses to the Noxie Monster.
