Gross

Person 6 stories, 1955 to 1978

Patrick Gross compiles cases. He runs the ALSACAT catalogue of Alsace sightings, and his notes follow reports from Indiana to Brazil. In the 1975 Merxheim cabbage-picking landing, he rated the story a probable children's invention, while noting there was no proof of a hoax. In Strasbourg in 1978, two yellow balls stayed classed as unidentified. He counted at least three likely independent groups of witnesses. For the 1955 Dogtown clawed hand attack, he pointed to the alligator gar and flagged the silver disc and the colonel as later inventions. In the Piranhas abduction, he found the strange details more like a real child's testimony.
