A French ufologist with SERPAN. In 1979 Michel Figuet and Jean-Louis Ruchon put their names to a catalogue of French close encounter cases. The Merxheim cabbage-picking landing of 1975 was among its entries. The same book touched the Marignane Airport landing of 1952. It reported a rumoured counter-investigation said to have exposed the testimony as a hoax, though the authors admitted they had received no information about it. Figuet also appears in the Trans-en-Provence case of 1981. There he reported a remark made by the witness, Renato Nicolaï.
