A researcher who looked for the source of French sightings on the television screen. In the Merxheim cabbage-picking landing of 1975, Raoul Robé argued that the craft and its cabbage-grabbing pincer closely matched the ship Orion from the 1966 West German series Raumpatrouille Orion, shown in France as Commando spatial. At Laxou in 1982, he turned to the Amaranth case. 8 September 1982. About six weeks before the sighting, French television aired La soucoupe de solitude, a film showing a small bluish saucer. Robé also wrote a second UPIAR analysis of the case in 2023.
