A Scottish newspaper, sometimes called the Glasgow Daily Record, that turns up again and again at the edges of famous cases. In 1933 Hugh Gray told it how an object of considerable dimensions rose from a calm Loch Ness, and by one account it printed his photograph on 6 December. In 1990 it received six colour photographs of the Calvine UFO. It never ran the story, and the negatives later vanished. In 1994 it approached Nick Pope about the Craigluscar Reservoir disc photograph. Several outlets also credit it with breaking the Rutherglen Poltergeist story in 2016.
