black triangle

Term 5 stories, 1979 to 1994

Silent. Dark. Three-cornered. The black triangle names a family of reports in which witnesses describe silent triangular craft in the sky. Late November 1989, the Belgian UFO wave began, and it remains central to the black triangle story. The Belgian Air Force summary spoke of gendarmes whose objectivity could not be questioned, and in 2007 De Brouwer presented the case at the National Press Club in Washington. That same year, in Campbellton, two sisters watched three silent triangles over Sugarloaf Mountain, leaving one by one. No link to Belgium is known. Still, Campbellton belongs to the same family.
