A researcher of yowies, tigers, yetis and poltergeists, Tony Healy often worked alongside Paul Cropper, his co-author on Out of the Shadows. Together they retold Charles Harper's 1912 hairy man of the Currickbilly Range and noted an earlier Cardwell tiger report from 1864. December 1979. Healy interviewed Lhakpa Domani Sherpa, who described a thickset creature that grabbed her by the hair at Machermo. On 26 April 1998 he and Cropper arrived at the Humpty Doo house. Over five days they saw about 30 objects move, and a skinning knife narrowly missed his ear.
