Late January 1998. A house on McMinns Drive, south of Humpty Doo in Australia's Northern Territory. Gravel from the driveway began falling indoors. It seemed to appear just under the ceiling. The pebbles were bone-dry and warm. Then came knives, batteries and spanners. A beer mug flew through a tiny hole in a window pane. A priest blessed the house, and windows shattered. Reporters arrived sceptical and left with stories. At least 30 people say they saw it. Two investigators moved in and watched objects fall from nowhere. A television exposé later called it a hoax. The argument has never quite ended.
Late January 1998. A four-bedroom house on 5 acres south of Humpty Doo, in the Northern Territory. The address was 90 McMinns Drive. Andrew and Kirsty Agius lived there with their baby daughter Jasmine, alongside Dave Clark, his partner Jill Summerville, and Doug "Murph" Murphy.
