A sceptical investigator, writing for Skeptical Inquirer, who goes back to the records and the photographs. In 2019 he checked the archives on the Perron family's Conjuring House. The tragic deaths tied to it had happened elsewhere, and he saw hot reading in the Bathsheba story. In 2021 he reproduced the arcs in the Doris Bither photographs with a strand of hair near the lens. As chief investigator for the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry, he spotted the Madonna of Bachelor's Grove pasted into a 2012 bar photo. He called the 2023 Las Vegas backyard alien affair a prank that backfired.
