A writer of London ghost lore and Ripper history. Richard Jones turns up in the archive as a teller of old tales. His ghost walks keep alive the 1864 story of the Tower of London sentry who bayoneted a white figure. In 2019, writing for the Jack the Ripper Tour, he rediscovered an 1897 report of a ghost crowd. The paragraph never named the church. He identified it as St Botolph's, Aldgate, and said several newspapers carried the story. He also wrote a modern retelling of the Wild Man of Orford in Myths and Legends of Britain and Ireland.
