A Canadian Sasquatch investigator, René Dahinden turns up across decades of the archive's Bigfoot cases. In the 1950s journalist Bruce McKelvie passed him and John Green the Colonist article on Jacko. November 27, 1969. Dahinden reached Bossburg to find most of the Cripple Foot prints trampled by sightseers, and photographed and cast the best one left. He also preserved and later published the North Bay Nugget clippings on Old Yellow Top. His verdicts could cut both ways. He called the 1975 Lummi case a good one, and Paul Freeman's 1982 tracks complete fakes.
