An upright, wolf-like creature. That is the Michigan Dogman of legend. It began with a song by Cook, written as an April Fools' prank for the radio, which became the station's most requested track and was re-recorded in 1997 and 2007. Robert Fortney's 1937 riverbank encounter on the Muskegon River is now told as one of the earliest sightings, a teenager with a rifle who remembered a pair of blue eyes for fifty years. The Werewolf of Defiance from 1972 and the Beast of Bray Road are often folded in beside it. MonsterQuest later exposed the 2007 Gable Film as a hoax.
