A reporter and author, Linda Godfrey brought Wisconsin's werewolf sightings into print. December 29, 1991. Her first article on the Beast of Bray Road ran in The Week, a weekly supplement to The Janesville Gazette, with witnesses under false names. A man named Joe saw her sketch on television and called her, sharing the St. Coletta night watchman's 1936 encounter with a creature on a burial mound. She later reproduced his drawing in The Beast of Bray Road: Tailing Wisconsin's Werewolf. In 2016 she spoke at the Dogman Symposium in Defiance, home of the Defiance Wolfman case.
