A writer whose retellings carry older cases to new readers. Marcus Lowth wrote for UFO Insight and for Listverse. In 2018 he counted ten South African encounters for Listverse, among them the Baviaanspoort and Eersterust triangles of 1991 and the Sasolburg water-droplet craft of 1993. His Sasolburg version added a hovering craft and a crowd of onlookers absent from the Beeld summary. His Pretoria piece was illustrated with the Petit-Rechain triangle photograph from Belgium, a different case entirely. At UFO Insight he wrote up the 1978 Frodsham Devil's Garden encounter in 2020, and set the silver rain over Rome in 196 beside Roman rains of chalk.
