A researcher of crash retrievals, and in 1955 the director of CRIFO. September 2, 1955. Stringfield published Robert Hunnicutt's report of frog-faced figures beside a road at Branch Hill, Ohio, in Orbit, after Herbert Clark of the Ground Observer Corps passed it on. Coral and Jim Lorenzen later catalogued the case on the strength of his reputation. In 1980 a letter reached him from a security police sergeant known only as "Jeff Morse," describing the Fort Dix / McGuire AFB shooting of 1978. Some summaries also link his book Situation Red: The UFO Siege to the 1942 Tulagi formation, though that remains unconfirmed.
