Three different men share this surname in the archive. Frank Edwards retold the Canvey Island Monster in Stranger Than Science in 1959, describing a creature with five-toed, horseshoe-shaped feet and zoologists who were never named. 17 March 1978. Ken Edwards, a 39-year-old service engineer, was driving home past the Risley nuclear site when a silver figure at least 7 feet tall came down the embankment and beams from its eyes seemed to paralyse him. Gary Edwards, Station Assistant at Cook, heard a terrified train crew during the Ooldea Siding sighting of 1985. Afterwards he phoned Pine Gap.
