A writer for the Pine Barrens Institute. Adam Benedict turns up in the archive as a chronicler of old monster stories. In 2018 he profiled the creature of Rock Lake, near Lake Mills, Wisconsin, under the name the Rock Lake Terror. That same year he wrote up Arizona's Mogollon Monster, whose earliest written account is often traced to I. W. Stevens and the wild man of the Grand Canyon. He also profiled the Lake Koshkonong sea serpent chased by two duck hunters in 1887, and the Walgren Lake Monster of Alkali Lake, Nebraska.
