Richard Hall worked for NICAP. Its secretary, its investigator and its editor, he handled some of the archive's best known cases. 10 September 1957. Clyde Tombaugh wrote to him about his Las Cruces sighting, admitting he had been petrified with astonishment. In 1961 Hall judged Joe Simonton's space pancakes ludicrous and kept NICAP out of it, and under him NICAP called the 1965 Brooksville robot landing a hoax. He edited The UFO Evidence in 1964, which carried the Redmond, Oregon case, and in 2001 he edited a second volume.
