March 8, 1965. A dark, starless evening near Mount Airy, Maryland. A man and his son stepped out of a barn and saw six red lights. Three pairs. Drifting toward them at about twenty miles per hour. A third witness was called from the house. Together they watched the lights pass between the barn and the house, low and utterly silent. One said it looked like a flying wing. It held a straight line toward the hills two miles away. They expected it to crash into the hills. Instead it went over, and disappeared over the horizon. Project Blue Book looked for a balloon or a glider. It found neither. Case 9305 was filed as unidentified.
