Brooklyn, 17 February 1922. That is where Howard Menger was born. When he was eight his family moved to High Bridge, in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. He became a sign painter and served in the Army with the 17th Tank Battalion. He also said people from space had been meeting him since boyhood, and his High Bridge contacts ran from 1932 and again from 1956 to 1959. His lectures carried weight elsewhere too. In 1957 a sister-in-law who had attended one helped bring the Trascos' Everittstown encounter to the Delaware Valley News.
