Coulommiers

Place 3 stories, 1993 to 1994

A town area in Seine-et-Marne, about 70 km east of Paris. Friday 28 January 1994. Air France Flight AF3532, an Airbus A320 named Ville d'Amsterdam, was cruising from Nice to London at flight level 390 with 24 passengers aboard. Over Coulommiers, its crew reported an unidentified object. Five months later the same département produced another unexplained file, the gendarme triangle over the A4 at Ussy-sur-Marne. In March 2021, France 3 Paris Île-de-France listed the Coulommiers sighting among nine unexplained GEIPAN cases in the Paris region, alongside the Ecquevilly ring of lights.
