Andrew Collins investigated two of the stranger English cases in the archive. With Barry King of UFOIN, he took up the Aveley abduction of October 27, 1974. A family driving home through Essex lanes. A green mist. Later hypnosis sessions in 1977. Collins called the couple's separate drawings almost identical. In the Brentford Griffin affair of 1984-1985 he first doubted the reports, then came to believe some after interviewing witnesses. Earthquest Books published his booklet in 1985. His own website now says all but one case were hoaxes by Rankin. A different Collins, Michael, appears in the Templemore Miracles of 1920.
