Melbourne, Australia. 6 April 1966. That was the date of the Westall sighting, a daylight event witnessed by a group of schoolchildren. In the archive it serves as a touchstone. The Burkes Flat Bent Headlight Beams case places it within a busy autumn of reports across Victoria. Dampmart in 1975 and the Banggol Cicar Green Spinning Disc in 2003 are both set beside it, alongside Broad Haven in Wales and Ariel School in Zimbabwe. Westall drew investigators and decades of retelling.
