A town in Kent that surfaces twice in the archive. 3 January 1955. Cedric Allingham gave his only public talk there, to a flying saucer club, with Patrick Moore in the audience. Decades later, Peter Davies admitted he had given that talk himself. Tunbridge Wells returned in May 2008, when the National Archives opened the first Ministry of Defence UFO files. Among them was a 1982 pub sighting there, lights later explained as airliners approaching Gatwick. The same release held the Waterloo Bridge saucer and an unnamed eastern airport's touch-and-go UFO.
